Whats On The Course?
Are you going to Japan? Do you want to go to Japan, but are put off by the language barrier? Do you want to know how to order a coffee with confidence, or understand which is the right toilet to use (and also how to use it!)?-then this is the course for you!
This is a short course designed for the total beginner in Japanese.
The course, concentrating mainly on speaking and listening skills will teach the basic language needed in everyday situations from basic greetings to ordering food. It will also teach basic etiquette to avoid possible embarrassing situations, helping you to make the most of your visit as soon as you arrive!

It is suited to those who have no prior knowledge of the language, but who wish to visit the country either for business or pleasure.

Christine Martinez
Christine is an experienced teacher of languages. She has lived for several years both in Japan and France, where she taught English to companies including Sanyo, Otsuka and Coca Cola.
Her personal aim is to help students relax and gain confidence in a foreign language. Lessons are planned to be engaging and dynamic with lots of student participation and group work in a relaxed atmosphere conducive to learning.
